Our school provides a programme specially suited to the needs of the child. The method offers individual attention to the development of the child and lays the foundation on which the child can build his future success and happiness.
Montessori
There are five critical areas of learning in the Montessori environment: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Culture. We use high-quality Montessori material for each of these activities and ensure that no child is left behind in the pursuit of holistic learning.
Science
Hands-on science encourages the children to observe, ask questions, touch, smell and experiment. Critical thinking skills enhance during such activities, and we make sure that each grade has age-appropriate science projects.
Phonics
The phonics approach is a method of teaching and learning reading based on the letters of the alphabet and their associated sounds. Children learn the shapes of the letters and the sounds they make to decode words that appear in the text. Our students have benefited immensely by learning phonetics and have won several spelling bees competitions as a testimony to this.
Mathematics
We believe that more kids would find joy in learning Math if we also teach them the practical aspects of it. And so we incorporate practical Mathematics activities to encourage the child to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Grammar
Grammar is at the centre of both our spoken and written communication. It allows us to communicate effectively and can help with relationship building – an essential skill for kids to develop. We teach Grammar as a separate subject to ensure that the kids achieve proficiency in the English Language.
Extra Curricular
Some of the many advantages of extracurricular activities include - improved self-confidence, reduced anxiety and increase in persistence and resilience. Therefore, we provide various enrichment programs - Chess, Classical Dance, Karate, Instrumental and vocal music.
